With the explanations out of the way Kalena looked at Kevin and smiled.

"So this 'wedding' bit, is only since there are too many people, and sometimes they 'have seks' with people they should not?" She asked perceptively.

"Yes, basically..." Kevin said.

"Then why worry? Just us here, me and you, there no one else to 'cheat' with," Kalena replied logically.

"Well there's still the facts that we've only just met and I'm not sure I'm ready to be a parent," Kevin hedged, but he could feel his resistance crumbling.

"Mother always say, 'no one ever 'ready' to be a parent'. I know I not ready, why for wait for you to think you ready when you never really going to be?" Kalena asked.
