You think the pistols are best.

Tinkering with the metal and getting the image sort of drawn for you in your head you see the three gun schematics sort of floating in your mind ready to be selected it would seem given time and metal you can carry two pistols, one rifle, and one shotgun all sort of held together by magic. Figuring with your slight build and a desire to travel light the decision seems pretty easy. As you begin to make your selection though, the pistols, a further option becomes apparent. Choosing to specialize on one of the three will open a new more advanced design at the expense of dismissing one other. The new weapon won't take much more to build, just more magic to hold. You give it a little thought then decide to drop the shotgun in favor of better pistols. When you do the mechanics of the gun shift in your mind and you must select a new one. The two new options are for a pair of single action revolvers or one double action revolver paired with an off hand blade, like a dagger. Both pistol options seem to heavily enhance your stealth, with the two guns adding more mobility and the other adding more melee enhancement.

Finding this new information makes you second guess the choice of the pistol. You let your mind wonder what your magic would do if you chose the rifle. The two new options are for a bolt or lever operation. The bolt is slower, more accurate, and longer range. The lever is faster, similar power, but shorter range due to heavier slower projectiles. You are also now aware that choosing the bolt will further enhance your vision and almost like a camouflage ability to do a more sniper role, where as the lever will magically enhance your stealth on the move to stalk your prey like a hunter or gorilla fighter. “Huh, that’s cool.” Your mind then drifts to ponder the last choice, the shotgun. Sure enough a specialist is available here as well, plus two improvements. A sawed off double barrel shotgun, this comes with increased mobility and skill increase with an off hand brace to use like a shield, or a pump action shotgun with the same enhancements as the lever rifle, but slightly favoring speed to stealth.

“Wow, so this new magic is almost all inside of me.” None seem to have any spells to speak of, just a style of combat. You can't help but be confused, but then again it would seem only the specialization is fixed so you will sort of know the other styles as well if using these weapons once you make them. Though it would seem choosing a specialty will completely drop one category all together. That said once you are more powerful you know further new weapons will become available as will more abilities. “Huh, odd, but pretty cool. I guess I owe Mr. Tentacle monster a thank you.” You say nearly chuckling on the words. Something tells you that a mass of tentacles was just your mind trying to make sense of the incomprehensible thing from beyond the void. “So I suppose I should make…”
