Observe her panic

Chanel's distress effectively breaks up the party. The girls cluster around her, trying to comfort her and ignoring the guys. Eventually they leave, muttering unhappily as the girls hug the sobbing Chanel until she finally starts to calm.

"Someone's out there," she moans fearfully. "Someone terrible. He just grabbed me and took me. I thought it was Jeremy, playing around and being a pervert, but even as he was taking me it didn't feel right. He was bigger than Jeremy but I thought I was just imagining it. Oh God, who was it?"

"Let's go back to Mellon, Chanel," Tiana says softly. "Everything's gonna be ok. Come on girl, we got you."

"Yeah Chanel, we got your back," Rose adds. "Sisters forever, right? No ones gonna attack us with all five together."

"What if...if its about last year?" Chanel whimpers. "What if it's about ****?" She takes a shuddering breath then suddenly screams into the darkness. "Leave us alone! Leave us alone! It was an accident!"

The other girls surround her, hugging her until she subsides in broken sobs. Two of them continue to hold and comfort her while the others pack up the blankets and other party supplies. Finally they walk in a subdued group back up the hill towards the main campus, Chanel's soft whimpering the only sound of their passage.
