"I'll think about it," Maon says, emptying his glass and standing up. "Thanks for the drink. I have to get back to the school."

You slide along the bench seat of the booth, looking uncertainly at both him and the pretty reporter.

"What about you Mr. Watts?" she asks. "Anything you can tell me would be helpful. And like I said to Mr. Carter, it can all be background, your name never appearing at all."

You look at Mason, feeling conflicted. He gives a quick shake of his head, then shrugs before leaving hge bar, leaving you sitting alone with Holly. She smiles at you, and once again you're reminded how pretty she is.

"Let's start with how you got hired," she asks, flipping over a page in her notebook.
