An old, patched up dress.

The aisle was filled with a cornucopia of interesting costumes, most of them appearing to be taken straight from a _Brothers Grimm _tale. Some of the costumes were inspired by international folklore, such as a Sami shaman, a Greek Lamia, a Russian Vytianka or a Persian Aga, a type of demoness that possesses an Evil Eye. Others, appeared to be made up, like the costume of a 6 handed female with a dress that suggested an affinity for spiders, without any explicit details.

After about 20 minutes spend going back and forth on the aisle, browsing yet being completely unable to make a decision, Lauren decided to pick up two costumes.

The first one was a strapless, silken bedouin dress in 4 layers, accompanied by a silken white top that extended bellow her waist, split in the front from the silvery snake collar down, to reveal the intricate pattern of the dress below. Lastly, there was a flimsy red scarf, meant to be loosely wrapped around the head and mouth to conceal one's identity. The costume was marked as "Djinn", however it was quite confusing for Lauren since it was not accompanied by a any lamp or any other items to suggest a magic affiliation. Accompanying the costume was a set of black paint and instructions for crafting an intricate tattoo onto the wearer's body.

The second one was an old white dress, yellowed by the time and wear. It looked like a traditional rural American dress from the 20's, made of cotton and reaching just below one's knees. The dress was accompanied by a pair of old fashioned black shoes with a white ankle strap and a slim heel. Unlike the dress, they showed no sight of wear and they still seemed fashionable after all this time.
