6 and 1

When the dice stopped rolling, Jackie looked down at the glowing dots on both of them. She let out a frustrated groan as she saw the two dice glow red, then project a large '5' between them. She had hoped to roll a result that would get her a 1, but she ended up rolling the second worst result possible, only behind double sixes. And here she thought that she lucked out by getting to play on the 'Easy' difficulty.

The second the infernal dice had returned to her hand, she immediately rolled them again. Once more, they clattered onto the table and came to a stop just before going over the edge.

[Author's Note: Since these posts are going to be short either way, I'm going to have the location, section/pen, and phrase rolls all go into the same post. That way, I only have five posts before I'm done as opposed to fifteen. Hope people understand why, and I recommend other branches from the previous chapter do likewise.]
