Greet her

"Hi there!" you call as the woman approaches, her attention still on her phone. She looks up in surprise at the sound of your voice, puzzlement clear on her face, followed by evident realisation.

"Hello! You must be one of the new teachers," she smiles, extending a hand in greeting as she approaches. "Donna Considine. I teach Math and coach the soccer team."

"Mason Carter, Biology," you tell her, shaking her strong hand.

"Ahhh, Mister Carter," she says with a slight chuckle. "I understand you've already had an interesting morning despite only just arriving on campus." At your questioning look she holds up her phone. "Ms. Naylor just told me about Valerie Cummins. And your involvement."

"She seems to be a...difficult personality," you say, choosing your words carefully.

"She's a nasty little bitch is what she is," the woman laughs. "Mean as a hell and just about as dumb, but an excellent athlete. Honestly, I'm surprised she hasn't been expelled before now. But our headmistress is often **** to pull the trigger on disciplinary issues. Perhaps the new Dean of Students will solve that problem."

Her statement doesn't seem to call for comment so you stay silent, looking non-committal. She grins at you.

"Don't mind me. I say what I think and to hell what others think of it. I hear Valerie threatened to fire you. Don't worry too much, she's threatened me twice with that."

"What happened?"

"I benched her in one game for lack of effort. That was the first time. The second time I made her run laps because she spat on another girl in practice. After that, in the locker room when we were alone she spat at me."

"What did you do?"

"I dragged the little bitch into the shower by her hair and spanked her until her ass glowed," she says with a rueful smile. "Not very professional of me I know, but Valerie has behaved herself with me ever since. If anything, she sucks up to me every time she sees me."

"There weren't any repercussions from that?"

"Valerie never complained, and I certainly didn't broadcast it. Ms. Naylor knows but she turned a blind eye to it. I'm only telling you because I'm told you held her down on the couch."

"Yes, I'm not sure that was the smartest move I've made."

She wrinkles her nose and shakes her head. "Don't worry about it. You should have taken the opportunity to spank the stupid cow. That would have put the fear of God into her. And probably had her panting around you like a cat in heat too. Oh don't looked shocked Mr. Carter," she laughs. "Valerie talks brave and tough but she really likes to be dominated. She's got serious Daddy issues, and I think she's looking for someone to take control of her."

She gives a thoughtful sigh, looking back towards her cottage. "This is a lot for your first day on the job. Would you join me for a cup of tea?"
