Visiting the lab

"Again?" Rose asks.

"Huh? Oh, sorry, I misspoke. You remind me of an ex-girlfriend. She was a redhead too," you quickly say, hoping she doesn't suspect anything. Luckily, she's still coming down from her sexual pleasure high and just nods and let's it go. After that, you two get dressed and hastily leave the restaurant, heading your separate ways.

The rest of the week is pretty routine and goes by really quickly as you're overwhelmed with your duties as mayor, having one photo-op after another. In fact, most days you're too busy by the end of the day to even think about sex. By the time the day comes around for you to visit the Diamond Industries laboratory, you realize you haven't had sex in a week. Olivia still hasn't gotten back from California, and after the incident where Ashley tried to entrap Katie, both women have been kind of avoiding you outside of their official job responsibilities.

Regardless, you're pretty excited to go to the Diamond Industries facility in upstate New York. They had sent a limousine for you and the driver was very professional and didn't speak a word on the long drive. The longer the car ride go, you realize that the facility isn't even on the map. Eventually, the car pulls into a road after going through miles of forestry, into a clearing where you can see a state of the art building that looks futuristic. Rose is waiting by the front of the building as the driver opens the door for you, and she gives you a firm handshake when you exit. You want to hug her or more, but she seems determined to keep up professional appearances. A week isn't long, but you feel a tingle in your loins from the sight of the sexy executive whom you've fucked twice already. Your entire day's schedule has been cleared for this visit, and you think a third time might by on the cards today.

The building is both an office and factory as Rose leads you in and shows you the production floor. She then brings you to the end of the manufacturing line, where she has a bunch of scientists and engineers lined up and ready to show you a demo. What they bring out are essentially robots that can patrol the streets, scanning people for potential threats based on a some advanced algorithms. They even dress up a dummy with a gun and the robots promptly tells it to raise its hands and surrender. When it doesn't, the robot pelts the mannequins with a rain of bullets until you almost can't recognize it anymore.

"Woah," you remark at the end.

"Exactly. Shock and awe. **** and guns off the streets, mister mayor," Rose says.

"And how many are we buying from your company?"

"10."

"Just 10?"

"They're pretty expensive. But think of them as police officers who can cover a lot of ground plus they don't need to rest between shifts."

"They look..."

"Menacing?"

"I was going to say like robocop, but then it's all metal."

"We can customize the paint coatings to your desire," Rose says and you look around the factory. While what you've seen is impressive, it's not exactly what you had imagined. "If you're satisfied, you can join us in the conference room. Our board is waiting to meet you and we have a reception for you."

"Uh... okay..." you say.

"Is there something wrong?" Rose asks.

"It's just... well, the designs you sent my office, there were exoskeletons and other cool stuff. This looks very different."

"Oh, those are part of our other product lines, included in the packet to show you what potential our company has. I assure you, these robots are just as sophisticated and are already being tested to be used in other countries such as Russia, North Korea, and Iran. If you work fast, I'm sure New York City could rush to be the first in the world to incorporate these into your police ****."

"What about the cool stuff? Why can't I buy that for the city?" you ask, still wanting to see what else they have.

Rose looks at her colleagues for help, but none want to answer, and she looks slightly uncomfortable. "Well... I'm not supposed to tell you this, but since you've made a big order for the city, I'll just say that those are supposed to be top secret and right now the only client that has purchased them is the Pentagon. One unit costs $15 million and they've only gotten 2."

"$15 million?!?" you exclaim, ignoring the chuckles around you. "Can I see one?"

Rose looks at one of the scientists. He's old, balding, and fat, and even the loose lab coat looks too tight on him. "Walter, what do you say? I think we can show him one right?" she asks.

"Well... We don't have any more of the Alpha models left..." the scientist replies.

"We don't?"

"The Pentagon wrecked one of theirs in a mission, pilot thought he was invincible and tried to charge an entire base by himself. He got pretty far until he took a hit from a rpg head on. They couldn't separate metal from flesh when they found the debris. We do have a Beta model though..."

"Sure! Let's go," you pat Walter on the back and nudge him to take you to the prototype. Bewildered, he does as you say and Rose hurries to keep up.
