Camp for the night.

As night began to fall, Grom set about starting a fire, deftly and patiently working with flint and kindling to create a source of warmth and light in just a few minutes. Stren cut rough chunks of meat from the lizard's massive thighs and speared them on spits, roasting them over the fire together with some of the gathered mushrooms. Grom and Kailla's expressions of suspicion and mild disgust as they eyed the dripping meat turned to surprise and delight as they tried it and found it to be gamey, but otherwise tender and filling. The three of them them managed to eat an entire leg between them, with Stren doing most of the work, noisily and with gleeful exclamations of delight as the fat dripped down his chiselled chin. Looking at him sitting cross-legged on the ground chowing down on the massive haunch of meat, laughing and grinning like an idiot it was hard to believe he could be capable of a burst of such savage **** as the one that had felled their evening meal. He appeared utterly without self-consciousness, as if he had nothing to hide. He still hadn't covered up his naked penis and he didn't even seem to care to do so. Once he'd finished noisily sucking the last fibres of meat from the bone, he immediately lay on his back, using a log as a pillow. "You take first watch Grandfather..." he mumbled, "Wake me later..." and within seconds he was fast asleep, one hand resting on his belly, the other loosely wrapped around his massive member as if for comfort.
