Almost time for dinner

He walked upstairs and saw Beth's door was closed, she was probably working on homework. He should probably be doing that as well.

Just then he hears a shout from downstairs--

"Jack! Dinner is going to be ready is 30 minutes!" said Jacks mom, shouting from the kitchen downstairs.

"Alright!" he replied

"Tell your sister I think she's busy!" she said

Jack opened his door, threw his bag down and knocked on his sisters door.

*knock* *knock* "Beth, dinner's in 30minutes"

....

No response, she must have headphones on. He clutches the door handle, it's open.

Jack opens the door to see Beth sitting at her desk doing homework like he suspected. She was still wearing the same navy blue romper she wore to school. Jack glanced at her bed for a second, there was something blue sticking out from underneath her pillow...

"What is it Jack?" Beth asked as Jack quickly turned his head to see Beth had taken off her headphones.

"Oh um, dinner is in 30 minutes, mom asked me to tell you." he said, still wondering what that could be under her pillow.

"Okay thanks," she said as she smiled at him and turned back around.

Since Jack is already here, should he ask Beth for a pair of panties to borrow? She did say just ask.
