Chapter 22 by D!$N3Y D!$N3Y

Doesn't look good, does it?

Could defintely stand improvement.

In the infirmary (of sorts) downstairs, Robin was still trying to free himself and he was getting closer to it. But the prong, the metal that goes through holes in the strap of the belt, it was barely within reach. Beast Boy and Cyborg were quietly giving him encouraging praises: "Almost there, Robin."

"Yo, you got this." Robin started to sweat a little as he pushed himself to reach it, his voice straining a little. Finally, after a couple of minutes... he pushed the strap up to make the prong go backwards through the hole, opening one of the belts.

"Yes!" he hissed. Thankfully, freeing his arms meant he could easily undo the other belts, which he did. Suddenly, Starfire came in through the door! Robin had to act fast or he'd get pressed down again, so he grabbed some of his smoke pellets and hid them in his tightly-clenched glove as he lay back down on the bed. Starfire hovered over them all, smirking as her eyes were aglow.

"So, former friends, are you ready for the ****? Or do you wish to serve the Master Jeremy?" Robin knew his chance would be coming shortly, so he waited until he was sure. "Perhaps we will start with the green one." Garfield grew understandably scared, backing away from the cage as she opened the door.

"Dude! C'mon, Star, snap out of it!" But she said nothing, grinning as she came to grab him. However... he grinned right back as he charged as a rhino, knocking far backwards with two separate grunts: when he tackled her, and when she collided into the wall. She slid down it and Robin saved his pellets for later; their plan worked! He and Beast Boy picked the locks, and snapped the chains apart respectively. Cyborg was free, and as they ran, he was inspecting himself with the computer built in his arm.

"I do have a virus! But according to my sensors, I can't even find it!" And they just continued down the hall, when almost instantly, the alarm went off. "What the heck!"

"Starfire must've triggered the alarm! Titans, move!" Robin started running down a perpendicular corridor.

"As if he needed to tell us," Beast Boy retorted, taking the form of a cheetah or leopard and sprinted after, with Cyborg close behind. At first... The mechanical soldiers ran through every hallway, grouped 3 x 10 as they searched for the escapees. The boys made it to another room, and it Jeremy's relaxation chamber, aka his bedroom. Raven was laying there, sleeping peacefully. Garfield saw her and almost ran to her. "Rave--" Cyborg grabbed his shoulder, and pulled him back.

"Bad idea, B.B.," he said softly. "If we wake her, she could use her powers and call for help." Robin agreed: no need to make any unnecessary actions that would bring them back to Start.

"We'll need to make sure she can't use her powers on us." But Garfield became a hummingbird, anxious to get Rachel out of danger. He landed on her bed as a squirrel so as not to wake her, then became himself again to gently wake her.

"Hey, Raven..." he said in a singsong. "Wake up... It's time to go home." Raven groaned softly, pulling slightly away while she started to open her eyes...

What happens with Raven?
