John meets up with Jess

"Hey Jess," John said. Jess jumped. He had come down one of the back alleys, "Have you tried the food here? I think I'm in heaven.

"Yeah... no- I haven't tried it yet," Jess said, visibly hiding her purse from him.

"Did you get me a gift?" John asked trying to sneak a peek.

"No!" Jess said stepping back.

John was too quick and saw the lamp, "Wow! How did you know I wanted a lamp?"

John snatched up the lamp and rubbed it jokingly.

"Greetings, master," Jess said instinctively getting down on her knees and bowing to John, "I am the genie of the lamp. I am yours to obey."

"...what?" John said, "Weird joke, Jess."

"This is no joke," Jess said, "I am bound to obey anyone who holds the lamp. I will do anything for you, master."
