the beast emerges

As you wait time seems to crawl by getting a little bored. You look up trying to see the stars. But being so deep and the trees **** the area it's pointless. You start doing a little military exercise. Push-ups jumping jacks and sprinting in place. You also take the time to survey the area the best you can in preparation for the fight. Your eyes finally adjusting to the dark as the moon passes over. The light coming through what little holes the forest had finally you see some of the water starts to wade. You know the creature is coming as focus on your bait you see the head of an Anaconda. You can only see so much for you to see the big slightly green head. You slowly and carefully remove your axes that's when jump swinging both your axes straight down. But the snake sense you and moves just in time you quickly turn your head stare right into the yellow eyes of the snake. Showing no signs of fear it quickly dives under the water using what little light there is. You scan the water for any movements knowing your eyes will not help you. You close them relying on your other senses to help that's when you feel a light breeze on your back
