When Chloe and Gabriella leave the Harpy room, they enter a wide tunnel made of white meat that goes up in a slight angle. Strangely there is a thin river of milk streaming down.
“Another odd thing.” Chloe says in a slightly interested tone “And look up there.”
Chloe point at the two Lupick bodies lying further up. After a quick study she discovers they have been hollowed out. Their bellies have been cut open, their organs removed and even some bones from their paws are missing.
“Someone used their bodies as suits.” Chloe determines. "Quite honestly...it amazes me that they were able to pass the Harpies in such a paper thin disguise. We really do need to get that Grand Harvester back up to guard that gate, if this is the results our current guards produce."
Gabriella puts a hand in front of her mouth and says, “I think I’m going to puke.”
Then Chloe sees bloody footsteps leading away from the Lupick bodies, going deeper into the tunnel.
The Matriarch and her companion continue up the path until they reach the next oddity. A hole in the side of the tunnel with a cut tube leaking milk. Next to the hole is a pile of pieces of flesh, presumable made from digging through the wall.
“Well, at least we found the source of the leak.” Gabriella says.
Chloe repairs the tube, reconnecting it, and closes up the hole by regrowing the flesh. Then she gets rid of the loose pieces of white flesh on the ground.
They continue until they get to the next room. There they find a woman in a blue dress with hair as red as blood. Next to her is a Writhing Mass as large as a bear. Its single eye has its eyelid closed and blood is leaking from it. The woman cuddles it, as if trying to comfort it.
“Greetings, Erin.” Chloe greets the woman. “Did something happen?”
“Two women breached the defenses.” Erin says. “They blinded my poor baby and then snuck past me. I followed them into the labyrinth behind me, but they managed to lose me. They are quite smart, I have to give them that. It is quite annoying. At the very least..I hope the two are just fucking each other's brains out right now.”
"So you sang for them then?" Chloe asked, and Erin just gave a short nod.
Erin’s eyes then fall on Gabriella and smiles.
“Good thing you came by to cheer me up.”
Tentacles appear from behind Erin’s back and flash towards Gabriella. They wrap around the Latina’s arms and legs and pull her up.
“What the …?” Gabriella asks in shock. She throws a scathing look at her companion and asks, “Was this your plan, Chloe?”
“My apologies, Erin. But Gabriella here has already been taken by a Burrower.” Chloe informs the Sinful Lady.
Erin grunts in disgust and lets Gabriella go, leaving the Latina drop to the ground.
“You know I don’t like bitches that have been tainted in such a way.” Erin complains. “Why even bring her to me.”
“It is not to you I am bringing her, but beyond. There is a little something I’d like for her to try.” Chloe says.
Erin cocks her head, seemingly thinking about what Chloe said. Her eyes narrow and lips curl into a smirk.
“I see. Carry on then. Oh, and if you find the women who did this to my baby, let me know what happened to them.”
Chloe nods and then continues on with Gabriella. They walk through the center of the room, only diverging a little to avoid walking through the milk bath in the center. Then they head into the next passage and continue.
