Homes sweet home, Evolution glorious Revolution.

“John, there you are!” His mom greeted him when he got back. “How are you sweetie?” “Great!” John said truthfully and gave her a thumbs up. “Did something good happen?” She asked, her tone betraying her interest. “You could say that. Kinda got myself a girlfriend.” “FINALLY!” Not the reaction he had expected. “About time, really. Tell her to come by some time I would love to meet her.” John just nodded, “Sure, I can ask her. Well, I am off to my room now.” As he passed his mother stopped him. “Let me have a look at you first. You seem different. Better.” That would be the added muscle mass. He couldn’t exactly tell her that though. She hugged him, “So happy you are finally getting forward in your life.” She said and then let him go. “Now go play your videogames, I will call your dad and tell him the good news.”

He wasn’t too sure if he liked the sound of that. Oh well, the damage was done. “Okay.” He just agreed and vanished into his room. Alone in peace in quiet for the first in two days he sat down and started his Computer. He grinned to himself as he opened his status. Nothing had changed since earlier but he wanted to do use that SEP he got.

He clicked on the little number at the bottom left of his skill level and the status screen changed to show him which one he could evolve by manifesting a + next to the skills available. Interestingly none of the passive skills were up for it, neither were Observe, the I.D. Skills and the Creation Skills. Just out of curiosity he clicked on Create I.D. to see if he could find out why.

So the four skills he could evolve were Masturbation, Possession, Sneaking and Mana Power Attack. Okay, Sneaking he could rule out immediately. He didn’t use it, ever. If he thought about it logically it was actually just a choice between Mana Power Attack and Possession. Both of them were his bread and butter skills, Mana Power Attack being his only offensive spell and Possession being a very reliable utility spell.

He had no idea what Evolving did exactly though. That was the biggest problem. Would the spell gain a flat buff, would it become something else, would it give him a choice like a skill tree? The latter would be awesome and allow for more customization. Urgh, the decision was bothering him so much, this game just explained to little.
