They had been at it for about four or five hours, no blowjob at the start this time (much to John’s dismay), when Rave suddenly stopped the grind “We are cutting things here today.” She said after blasting another Ghost into oblivion. “Okay?” John was mildly confused, it was barely past 5 PM. “Any reasons?” “Ja, two of them. A: I want to take a shower and B: My dad is coming home for today and only today.” Rave explained.

‘So, that was what the call was about?’ John asked himself and nodded to Rave. “Okay, I will do some solo stuff then.” “You are going to do shit.” Rave said, grabbing him by the hand. “Or, well, don’t know whadya gonna do later but for now you are coming with me.” John barely had time to use Escape I.D. as he asked. “Where are we going then?” “My house!”

Let us use the time they need to get there to look over John’s advancements of the day, shall we?

First of he didn’t get a level today. Bummer. He would probably get one if he could kill a few more Ghosts on his own. However, Rave did let purposefully one of the Ghosts creep by her today. The resulting damage he took made it obvious to him that she shouldn’t even try soloing these things. Both Create and Escape I.D. had levelled up from the one Illusion Barrier he had set up today. There weren’t any major changes, only the mana cost got discounted by one. Possession and Observe on the other hand had gotten a whole lot more interesting. Observe now also showed a relationship description underneath the numbers, meaning that John had a lot less interpreting to do. For Possession, see for yourself.

Yes, he was now able to Possess medium sized objects. That in itself wasn’t the greatest of news but it confirmed that the skill changed for more than just movement and mana cost. Free movement however was crazy good. Maybe if he continued levelling the skill up he could start doing some more crazy stuff.

On the question, how he managed to keep using Possession for long enough to level it without the instant refill he got from an actual level up. Well, he now had no Ectoplasm left. Consuming them luckily had turned out to just sticking a finger into the jar, the skin absorbed the gooey liquid within seconds. Drinking the stuff would have, most likely, been absolutely disgusting. The other good news was that he now had place in his inventory again. He also found out that if he put something into his backpack before putting the backpack into the inventory it only used up the space for the backpack instead of additional ones. Neat.

Rave had let his hand go once they left the forest. It was disappointing but they only knew each other for two days, intimacy isn’t a thing that grows within minutes. Usually. Honestly, he couldn’t tell with Rave, the girl was very inconsistent in her behaviour. Or was she? John had so little experience with the other sex maybe Rave was just one of those girls that drew a heavy line between feelings and pleasure.

Gray walls, white window frames, a normal glass door with milky glasses one couldn’t see through. In a way it reminded John of Rave’s disguise and that feeling only got improved once he entered the building.

Sure, the hallway could have belonged to literally any other building in the whole of the U.S. of A., but the rooms inside were quirky as everything. Some were the visions of a **** crazed artists, walls sprinkled with hundreds of colours, others were down to earth libraries that could have sprung from some late 19th century European nobles household.

Now for the WHY this house was so mixed up. John had no fucking clue. “Welcoming to my home, the Villa de Weirdo.” Rave said and spread out her arms. “My dad is a collector of things.” “I can guess.” John commented, awestruck as he made a huge turn around a very big, very beautiful and very delicate looking Chinese vase.

“So, your dad owns the entire floor or…?” “He owns the whole building; the first floor is basically my room. Nah, actually as much as he is gone all of this is mine.” John looked around again, some of the rooms were, without a doubt, useless but everything had a strange cosy beauty to it. “And you choose to hang out in that dusty old arcade instead?” He asked in disbelief. “Ja, now shut up and go to the videogame room, ya nerd. I’m gonna take that shower.”

As Rave vanished into the maze of rooms leaving John to, once again, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. “There is a videogame room?” He asked himself the important question. It was time to search for the thing, somebody who build such a weird house was bound to have some old gems.
