Head to the games room

You head down to the ground floor of the dorm, as Caoimhe leads you off into one of the side rooms. You walk into a large open room packed with couches, chairs, tables and stacks of board games, with a pool table in the center. Thankfully, it's unoccupied.

You lead Caoimhe over to the table, quickly racking up

"So, do you know how to play?"

"In theory," Caoimhe says. "Hit the white ball with the stick, using that to hit the other balls. Am I striped or not striped?"

"Depends. Whoever gets one in first gets that," you say. "Do you want to break?"

"No, you can do it," she says.

You cue up your shot and break. A solid red quickly finds it's way to the pocket.

"You're striped, then," you say, cuing up a second shot, which unfortunately misses, leaving the ball sitting precariously on the edge of a pocket without falling in. "Your turn."

Caoimhe leans in, grabbing her cue and aiming down her shot. She holds her cue awkwardly, before striking. The ball spins around with little momentum, gently tapping against the black ball.

"Two shots for me," you say.

"Yeah yeah, I know the rules," Caoimhe says. "Take your shot,then."

You smile, quickly knocking another ball into a pocket with ease.

"That's how you do it," you smile.

"It's my first time, obviously you're going to do better than me," she says, rolling her eyes. "

You quickly take another shot, but miss your mark, gently tapping a colored ball.

"My turn," Caoimhe says, aiming her cue again.
