You Follow Her.

You stand there for the longest time, just gawking as you can not believe she spoke english to you. She stands the quietly letting your shock fade, however she does seem to grow tired of it, "you do understand me yes" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "¿tu habla espainol?" She says shocking you more, you clear your throat and say "no I speak english, its just I am shocked that you do too". She chuckles at that remark, "is it really that strange compared to the rest of the island" she asks, she lets that sink in before she continues. "I am very sure that you're most confused, probably scared and ready to go home, well my people should be able to help you with most of that". She offered a slight smile and then said, "now if you would please follow me, I will take you to our vilage and you answer what we can for you", your heart beats a lot faster, home, answers, and all in your grasp, that is if this is no trick.

You decide that you should be able to follow her, because if she had truely wanted to hurt you, her and her people had snuck up on you with out you knowing. "Sure I will follow" you say, she gives another polite smile and starts walking toward the tree, you stay just steps behind her as you begin your journey. You decide that now would be a great time to try and gleam some infromation from her, so you ask "who are you"? She clears her throat and says "I am Lady Lola, one of four high councilor's of the Dryad people, as well as the offical voice of the guardian". Guardian, now that sounded very important, "and who is the guardian" you ask, she lets out a bit of an exasperated sigh, "he created this island, as well as all of us and the rules we must follow". "He also is the one that pulled you here and will be the one who will send you home when the time is right" she says, "so......is he a god" you ask.

She scoffs at your question, "though he may be very powerful, he denys godhood, very adamently, if anything he's a bit...." she searched for her word. "Weird" she finishes, "weird how" you reply, "oooh you will see when you get to meet him, he leaves a lasting impression". You walk quietly for a bit, following her closely behind before asking "will I be able to meet him soon" , she shakes her head no. "There is a lot you must do first, and no I wont tell you why, its one of his rules" hearing that does make you think he's a bit weird. Before you can ask your next question, she says "we're here", and pulls back a wall of vines with just a motion of her hand. You gasp as behind the wall sits the base of the tree, and built around it is simple wooden houses that start at the base and start climbing up the tree. Its a literal hanging city, the farther up buildings must be nine or ten stories up, you stand there staring upward in awe when Lola says, "come on" and motions you foward.
