While Adele wanted nothing more than to see Charles’ handsome face, it was someone else that opened the door. It was Janet, Charles’ housekeeper/caretaker. Her parents used to be employees of the Harris household and they were the only one who stayed after his parent’s ****. After her parents died, Janet took on the role of looking after Charles; she maintained the house, cooked and cleaned. She was like an older sister to both Charles and Adele. She was maybe ten years older than them, but she looked younger.

Although Adele was angry because it wasn’t Charles who opened the door, she deeply cared about Janet and could never think of harming her, someone else might have face the full wrath of the deer woman for just not being her Charles.

Janet’s eyes lit after seeing Adele standing in front of her, She hugged the young woman tightly “Adele! It’s been so long since I’ve seen you? Where have you been? You look great! Are you working out?” she hit Adele with a volley of questions without giving time for the answers, Adele returned the hug and smiled at Janet’s obvious affection for her “I’ve been super busy with classes and work, so I couldn’t visit, I missed you. I’m looking for Charles by the way, he’s phone is turned off and he is not at work, is he here?”

The older woman looked a bit surprised, “He didn’t tell you? He went camping with some of his classmates, there are seven of them I guess, three girls and four guys including Charles, they went to a camping site a hundred mile from here.” Adele was starting to get really frustrated at the delay, she couldn’t wait to get her hands on Charles, but finding him is proving to be really time-consuming.

“Do you have the address of the camping site, we can reach them before nightfall then.” At the mention of ‘we” Janet looked behind Adele at saw Catherine and David standing there, “Oh! I didn’t see you guys there! I was a bit carried away by seeing Adele after a long time!”

“This is my friend Catherine and her boyfriend David” Adele wanted to keep their nature hidden from Janet for now, what about that address, huh?”

Janet looked at Catherine and David, she was a bit taken by the beauty and grace of the three beast folk, her eyes lingered a bit more than normal on David, The lion man’s impressive body causing a stir in her loins.

She quickly snapped out of it, “You must be crazy to think that I’ll let you go right now after seeing you after a long time, Charles will be there for four more days, so you can go find him tomorrow, tonight, you are staying here, we have to catch up, there will not be any discussion about that, alright?”
