Seems an easy choice

"Done." You snatch the ruby slam the chest closed and walk out the door. "Well that was a bit terrifying." You say with a nervous laugh once you are outside and the door is shut behind you. Looking at the ruby in hand all you can think is, 'new shoes' with a grin you make your way rather quickly, again with that feeling of familiarity, to a store called "Otherworldly Fashions". The proprietor is a greying tall thin man you instantly know is something called an Erinyes, a devil you know is typically female, but not in this case. "How much for this?" You ask hopping up on the edge of the counter as if you had done this many times before.

"Do I know you?" He asks squinting at you. "Wait, I do. Oh no poor Nessa, your body was built using her soul energy. There must be a little bit of you still in there. So what is your name girl? How did you end up in that body?"

"A witch stole mine and gave me this as sort of payment for tricking me. She said I was some kind of chosen one or something and wanted my new powerful body." You tell him without hesitation. "Wait, why do I trust you?"

"Well, this witch of yours seems to have used the energy of a friend of mine, a nereid named Nessa, a water faerie, to build you that body. Poor girl. There seems to be a trace of her in you now that is giving you some of her memories, or at least some emotions she felt toward other people or places where she had been."

"I see. Sorry about your friend." You both are silent for a few moments till finally you ask, "So, umm, how much for the ruby?"

He looks it over, "Well I don't even keep that much coin on hand usually, but if you are shopping, I'd say 100 gold and 2900 in trade." Your eyes light up and he smiles, "You do have a bit of her in there. The magic is over there, the other world import stuff is down there, go pick out some stuff."

You can't help but chuckle a bit as you head down a row full of brightly colored fabrics.
