Kiona, as always, seemed fully in control of the situation as she walked into the private room behind Harry. The look on her face was completely different from Marigold's, both the one she had worn on her face earlier and the one she had on her face right now.
Marigold held her arms close to her chest. Even the sight of Kiona next to Harry was unnerving. Even now, she hadn't become any happier with her decision to 'deliver' Kiona to Harry. Her heart beat was beating fast as she waited in horrified anticipation to hear what Harry would say.
"It's good to meet you," Harry said. "I only know you through your work, so this is a real honor."
"My cosplay?" Kiona said haughtily. "Thank you. It's always good to meet a fan." She kept up her Pharah accent, even in this private place. Maybe it helped to distance her from Harry. The look on her face made it very clear that her heart just wasn't in what she was saying. No surprise.
If Harry was deterred by her tone, he didn't show it. That horrible smile on his face persisted. "That's not what I mean," he said. "I mean your more... personal works. You must know what I mean."
Kiona cocked an eyebrow, a little smirk appearing on her face. "What exactly do you mean by that?" she asked, more than a little amused.
"I've seen them," Harry said. "Those personal videos of yours. They're all over my private circles." There was something strange in his voice. Slowly, Marigold realized what it was. Harry was bluffing! Did he really expect that to work on someone like Kiona?
