The convention finds out.

Seriously Awesome Expo was a pretty big event. Attendees numbered in the tens of thousands. All those cosplayers running around, trying to get a name for themselves, trying to get people interested in their 'brand' or their merch... well, they tended to blend together. It was a simple fact of the convention lifestyle. Some people get lost in the noise.

The BB Brigade and their rivals, the 'DD Brigade,' were bigger than most cosplaying/streaming groups. They had a following, especially their leaders, Saki-chan and Bunny Hapa. Their pretty faces, gorgeous bodies, and excellent cosplays were the perfect combination for nerd adoration. Sure, plenty of that adoration was barely contained (if that) sexual frustration directed at attractive women whose fans had convinced themselves that they had a shot with them, but that was just another fact of cosplaying life. The BBs and DDs were popular, but nothing that could single-handedly capture the attention of all of SAX.

But one of the DD Brigade, the most lewd of them all, doing a 'naughty stream' from an SAX bathroom of a nearly-naked member of the BB Brigade getting spanked by the ultimate tease, Saki-chan? That turned heads. Corinne's biggest fans had tuned in from the first few minutes, catching her initial announcement about Marigold's misdeeds and why she was being punished for them. Her clever viewers recorded it and sent it to their friends at the con, who showed it to fellow attendees, who showed it to others...

Until the news made its way back to the other members of the BB Brigade.

"Is this some publicity stunt?" one of the con-goers scoffed at Lynn. "You know we can see right through shit like this, right?"

Lynn screwed up her face. She had no idea what this nerd was talking about, but she knew she didn't like his tone. These fanboys thought they could talk down to her, Bunny Hapa? Well, they were gonna learn to think again--

"Settle," Joy hissed under her breath. "Don't blow up in front of the crowd, it won't look good on the blogs." Joy hadn't yet learned about Marigold's misadventure in the bathroom yet, clearly.

"This!" the nerd said, pointing to his phone and shoving it into Lynn's face. The Twitch UI was recognizable, but the shaky camera work and the strange scene made it difficult to tell what was going on on the screen. "Don't play dumb with me!"

Lynn squinted. Slowly, the details of the scene before her eyes became clear. That was one of the convention hall bathrooms. And that was Marigold! Getting spanked! On camera, being streamed live on Twitch! What the fuck was going on? Even worse was the realization about who it was doing the spanking. Lynn hadn't seen the costume yet, but she could recognize that pair of tits in a revealing suit anywhere. Why the hell was Saki-chan spanking Marigold?!

Lynn grabbed the phone out of the fanboy's hands. "What is this?" she asked desperately, showing it to Joy.

"I'll show you the announcement," he said, scrolling back to the beginning. He showed Lynn and Joy Corinne's face as she told the world what Marigold had done-- that she had peeped on the BB Brigade with X Ray goggles and actually seen every one of them 'in the buff.'

Lynn was furious. "That bitch!" she spat. "How could she! After everything I did for her, this is how she repays me!"

The fanboy's eyebrows shot you. "Oh," he said. Suddenly he realized Lynn didn't know about this at all. Suddenly he realized that this was no publicity stunt. Suddenly this was the best thing to ever happen in his years of following cosplay and cosplayers, by far.

"Text Kiona and Terri," Lynn spat coldly at Joy. "I need to tell them all about our little friend the 'little lamb.'"

Joy was already way ahead of her.
