A mixup with the rooms (Talia lost the bet.)

Somehow, all nine of us crammed into the sweltering limousine. Talia and Rachel pushed me in against Elizabeth, and before I knew it Talia had her tongue in my mouth. After that, the ride was a blur. Talia kissing me, me kissing Elizabeth, Talia kissing Rachel, and, at one point, maybe Rachel kissing Elizabeth? Talia definitely put my hand on her tit and let it stay there. Corrine had one of Jake's hands down her dress, and out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw Amy slip out of her dress. Had Josh ditched us at some point? There wasn't air enough to hold onto the thought.

When we composed ourselves and piled out again, I took note of Josh's absence. "He found a boyfriend at the dance," Elizabeth explained. Good for him.

Then something else went wrong.

"FIVE ROOMS! We paid the deposit three weeks ago!"

Amy was shouting at some poor clerk, digging through her purse for the receipt.

"I'm dreadfully sorry, Miss, but somehow the hotel was double booked. At the moment, we have only one vacancy. Please accept these coupons..."

Next, Stephanie lost it. "This is our PROM NIGHT. I don't give a damn about fucking coupons. Do you know what this night means?"

We all shared her disappointment and rage.

"Again, we are terribly sorry. Of course, we will refund you the full cost of the deposit, and offer a discount on future hotel stays. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Jake, {Corinne}'s date, spoke up. "What's done is done. We need to consider our options."

The limo had left, and none of us had money for cab fare. The options were either call our parents to come pick us up -- horny and dejected -- or share the room.

I looked at Talia, then at Rachel who was looking up at her girlfriend, and at Elizabeth, and over at Simon who was holding Stephanie affectionately. Amy, meanwhile, was still arguing with the clerk.
