Does she make it?

Escape... at a price.

Glenda was nearing the tunnel under the castle wall the creek ran through. She took a deep breath then plunged under the water. She could see the grate that had been torn away by flooding but was still intact in the form of bent rot iron around the edges of the opening, like teeth. She swam as well as she could, bogged down by her cumbersome dress. The current helped her along and soon she passed through the tunnel. On her way out the other side she suddenly caught in place. What had happened?

Looking back she saw that the hem of her dress was caught on the torn metal. Her lungs were beginning to burn. She had to get free. She reached back and yanked on her dress. Finally, her pulling and the current yanked her free, shredding the bottom half of her dress. Lungs near bursting Glenda swam to the surface. She burst out, dark hair over her face as she gasped for breasts. Sputtering she paddled to the edge of the moat. She could hear commotion from the castle as she struggled to catch her breath. Finally, she was able to raise herself up and stand on her shaky legs. She looked down.

Sure enough, the bottom half of her dress had been totally destroyed. Her bloomers were fully exposed! She gasped at the sight. So much for her plan to sell her dress. Who wanted the tattered remains of a royal gown? She was dripping water, legs shaking. She knew she had to act, though she wasn't quite sure what to do with only the top half of a dress and bloomers on...
