Terri discovers Marigold's dirty little secret.

For whatever reason, it looks like Terri just can't take her eyes off of the spectacles that the tech gnomes had given Marigold.

As Terri looked around the bathroom stall, Mari kept silently begging God to stop the Tracer cosplayer from asking more questions about the goggles. It wasn't just that she didn't want her secrets getting out; strangely, there was a little part of Marigold that just wanted to keep her secret for herself. It was fun seeing her friends like that, and as much as she hated to admit it, Marigold found it even more fun seeing them that way without them knowing.

Marigold's prayers went unanswered. Terri looked again to the goggles sitting on top of Marigold's armour and picked them up. "These're really swell," she said, still imitating Tracer.

A thousand lines of thought were running through Marigold's head as she tried to come up with an excuse to ask Terri to put the glasses down. Nothing came to her. She tried to come up with a way to distract the faux-British cosplayer. Nothing came to her. She was paralyzed with indecision, her eyes locked on Terri turning the glasses over in her hands. She really couldn't think of any way of stopping Terri from doing what she knew was going to happen, any second now.

Mari watched as Terri slowly placed the X-ray goggles on her face. "Really swell!" she exclaimed. Apparently that was the only British compliment she could think of. "But how'd you get them to light up?"

Marigold didn't want to tell her. She couldn't tell her. How in God's name would her friends react when they discovered her level of perversion? She was mortified already, and Terri hadn't even figured it out yet. So she said nothing, standing silently a few feet away while Terri fiddled with the goggles.

"Oh!" Terri finally said, once she had found the little adjuster. "Here it is!" In a second, the lights on the X-ray glasses come alive, and Mari watched her fellow cosplayer's jaw drop open.
