Chapter 11 by Ranko Ranko

Should she...?

Resist and Rest

Lu made sure her shower was quicker than usual. The combination of wandering, worrying thoughts, and the near-overwhelming sensations was too much for Lu's overstressed mind to handle. She wasn't in the mood to follow through with any of the ideas she had, and she wasn't willing to explore any of the conflicting emotions about her larger, plusher body. Thinking of it as her body still made her feel uneasy and anxious. So, she washed up in a hurry and toweled off with her back to the mirror.

Her resolve to find a cure and set her body right was broken for now. She felt exhausted, physically and emotionally. It made sense, in a way, that having her physical self overhauled in a massive way would wear her down. It was only a little past 7pm and Lu's body was begging for sleep like she'd been up all week, "Guhh.. stupid.." she let out a deep yawn, "--fat eyelids.." she muttered to herself while gathering up her clothes. Even just leaning down to grab something off the floor presented new challenges. Lu couldn't really move at all without being reminded that she was currently occupying an obese body.

Walking down the hall towards her room had her feeling the way her thighs rubbed together and the faint jiggle that accompanied each step. In her room, Lu glanced at the closet briefly, but decided against ruining anymore of her clothes. Instead, she wrapped herself in a bathrobe, though the belt was tied around her belly without much length left.

Lu decided that her Mom’s queen-sized mattress would accommodate her better than the meager futon that was in her room. On top of that, her Mom’s bed was an and extra-cushy slice of heaven, piled high in fluffy comforters and pillows. As soon as she walked into her Mom’s room, she tipped forward onto the mattress and scooted the rest of herself onto the bed, curling up on her side. She nuzzled herself into the pillows and drifted off into sleep, not even caring that she was surrounded by an abundance lace and silk.

She slept through the night without incident and no unusual dreams. Not having any unnerving visions was nice, but at the same time, nothing had changed and Lu was still the rotund woman she was when she fell asleep. Lu sat up and tugged the blankets around herself for coverage. An open window and the morning breeze reminded her that she'd fallen asleep wearing only a robe, which was hanging open. She needed clothes.

Where to get clothes?
