Keep this a secret

"I have to keep this secret... There's no way I can let any of my friends or family see me like this." Lu shuddered a little, still being unnerved by her new voice. She felt tears well up in her eyes as the panic hit her again. She wasn't sure what to think any more, but unfortunately Lu couldn't quite grasp the other changes that had taken place.

Aside from the obvious physical changes, her personality was shaken in a subtle way. Normally, Lu, the teenage guy, was pretty strong-willed person, and not much unsettled him. He was often laid back and calm about most things, even in bad situations. This new female Lu, however, was clearly not. She was nervous and much more emotional than normal. It could be attributed to having estrogen soaking her brain at the moment, or it could be a side-effect of whatever girl'd her in the first place.

Lu choked the tears back and mustered a deep breath with the help of that age-old, 'count to ten' trick, everyone always suggested. She began pacing as her thoughts raced from one idea to the next. ~Maybe this was some ancient family curse that happens to all boys in the family? Or maybe I'm a mutant, like one of the X-Men!.. But turning into a girl is a stupid power and doesn't make any sense... maybe this is just a hallucination or a psychotic delusion, like I thought earlier? But wait.. I'm still sane enough to know I'm crazy, which means it may not be..~

As Lu paced, she kind of lost track of where she was walking and stepped on one of the Milkshake cans she had left next to her big leather chair. This caused her to yelp out in pain and stumble back, checking her barefoot for cuts with a little pouty expression on her face. Good thing Lu can't see herself because it seemed she was getting girlier by the minute.

It struck, Lu though... The milkshakes! They literally the only new and different thing he'd done today. Maybe they were the cause. Lu grabbed the nearest can and examined it top to bottom. She even mangled and twisted one until it tore in half, checking inside for anything. Unfortunately, all the of the cans had the same labels, but no information. The only thing Lu managed to find was the logo of the Company his Mom worked for, Orion Industries. They had only released a few products onto the market with decent success, but these Milkshakes were a new product that were due out soon, as her Mom had once said.

Lu grabbed the cardboard box they came in and began scouring over it in a similar fashion. Examining it inside and out wasn't much help, though. Not contact number, support line, no contact information to be found at all. If she called her Mom she could probably get her a number to the company to find out something, but that would involve revealing the secret, and there's no way anyone would believe what happened.

Lu flopped back into her chair and idly rolled an empty can beneath her foot. Panicking didn't seem to make any sense any more. Lu spent a moment or two considering what everyone would say, how things would change in her life. "Could be worse," she figured, "I could've been poisoned or something. At least this way I'm still alive and healthy." A wry grin spread across Lu's lips as the stress began to fade some. She was a teenage guy in a girl's body who was home alone, this was a golden opportunity that many guys would pay a fortune for, why only focus on the bad parts instead of enjoying it? It was a welcome thought that really made him feel like his old self again, and it was certainly an option, seeing as she was home alone.

A second idea hit her, "If it is the milkshakes, maybe drinking more will undo it? If not, it's not like I can turn into more of a girl, right?" Lu mused to herself. Listening to her voice was finally starting to lose its shock, but it was still kind of strange and foreign like everything else with her body right now. "If I'm wrong, the worst that happens is that I'd have to pee really bad in a few hours... " she thought aloud, not even considering how insane that made her sound.
