Turn in your story

You end up fucking Candice several more times that night without getting much sleep. When morning came, you got dressed and kissed her good bye and thanked her for a wonderful night.

For the rest of the week, you split your time between more crimefighting and using your magic rings to pursue leads for your story on the escort service. It was easy to use mind control to get Nala to reveal all the details of the operation, including their client list, which included several members of congress and prominent business leaders. It turned out that the escort service was funded and run by a group of wall street bankers and the financial trail wasn't hard for you to track down with your magic.

On Friday morning, you march pass Amanda's desk into the editor's office. Another reporter is in Laura's office, and she dismisses him when she sees you. You drop a printed copy of your story onto her desk and sit down, waiting for her to read it. You had included a list of celebrities from the service's database, and pictures from within the building downtown at the back of your story.

Laura reads in silence, until she gets to the pictures. You had included one of Candice getting nailed from behind by a banker. You had been invisible in the room.

Laura looks impressed and she's literally speechless for a while.

"This... this is amazing. You're going to win a Pulitzer prize for this. Clicks will go through the roof!" Laura says as she gets up from behind her desk. She comes over to you and bends down to hug you, whispering into your ear, "I could fuck you right now."

You smile and get up. "Maybe another time," you say and walk to the door, leaving Laura stunned.
