Down the hall

Continuing down into the hall, Nami warily navigated down its long twists and turns. From above she was constantly reminded by the following snail eyes that she was being watched, not only by this Master character, but the audience outside as well.

Another turn, and she was met with a dead end. Or rather, it would be if it wasn't for the long rope hanging from the opposite wall. Its length led upwards to a ledge above, what was on the other side however she couldn't tell from her limited vantage.

At this point, there were two choices available. She could climb up to the ledge and face the unknown waiting on the upper floor, or she could retreat back into the maze. Perhaps one of the many doors she had passed would provide a less precarious path to proceed.

While she decided, a downward draft drove a shiver through her exposed skin. It wasn't getting warmer anytime soon...
