Nami Alone

"I'm only going to say this one more time," Nami said, giving the fat pirate an uncaring look. "I have no interest in you, so I'm not going to drink with you. Do you understand, Straw Hat... who was it again?"

The barkeep and other customers backed away at the comment, obviously aware of the din that was about to be made. The supposed Straw Hat Pirates rose from their seats, and quickly made to surround the young girl sitting at the bar.

The first to approach her was a pudgy woman, wrapping her arms around the girl as she dangled the mouth of a pistol in front of her vision. "All right I'll give you two choices: Do you want to take Captain Luffy's offer? Or do you want to die?"

Of course there never really was a choice, after all Nami had made it clear to the insistent thugs that she had no intention whatsoever to join them. So instead she had preemptively released a string of thunder clouds from her hidden weapon, and without warning the impossible weather indoors rained lightning onto its unsuspecting foes.

Her magic of Weatherian science done, the woman sighed and rose from her seat. She had really just wanted to have a drink in peace, but apparently that had been to much to ask.

Carefully stepping over the burnt black bodies of her victims, she made for the exit. But before she could take a second step further, she found herself stumbling as a thick hand grabbed her ankle in place. It appeared that these pirates were a bit tougher than she had expected.

"Hold it right there..." said the charred man with the straw hat.
