Go to the party

The next day, Amanda leaves for work in the morning. Unfortunately Laura is going to a conference in Los Angeles later that day and Amanda is accompanying her. She'll be gone for a few days, which leaves you with much time to yourself.

The party invitation that Olivia left is still on the counter and you examine it. It's at an old and defunct municipal airport and says that attendees should dress casually and wear a mask. You decide to check the party out later in the evening, then head downtown to do more good deeds with your magic rings. During the day, you prevented some robberies, teleported a man with a heart attack to the hospital, and even saved a kitten from a tree.

By the time of the party, you're pretty tired but you're also nursing an erection that needs to be taken care of. This has been the longest you've gone without sex since coming into possession of the magic rings.

You order a ride share and have it bring you to the party. You're dressed casually as the invitation said. Jeans, a t-shirt and a plain masquerade mask you found, like in the Phantom of the Opera. When you arrive, there is a line to get into the venue with various people wearing different masks. Strangely, it's an old aircraft hanger that doesn't seem to be in use anymore.

A man in a tuxedo is at the head of the line and greeting all the attendees. You get in line behind what appears to be a middle-aged couple and notice that nobody is talking.

When you finally reach the front, the man in the tuxedo asks for your invitation, which you produce. He holds up a black light and uses his phone to scan an invisible bar code.

"Welcome sir. Please proceed in."
