Katya picks up the phone and decides to call him.

“Allo”

“Uncle Vitya?”

“No, uncle. We are not planning on having a child just yet. Actually, we are facing some financial problems.”

And Katya tells uncle Vitya about their situation.

“Poor, Katenka. I can send you guys some money if you need. You know you can always count on me. Your parents helped me out so many times. How much do you need?”

“No, no, uncle. It’s nothing like that. Actually, I should have told you about that a long time ago, but to tell you the truth, I forgot myself, a long time ago.”

“Ok, I’m listening. What is it, dear?”

“Uncle Vitya, do you know of any trust fund my parents have been investing in there in Ryzan?”

“You mean so kind of insurance? I believe Lesha (nickname of Alexei, Katya’s father) had some savings for you. He did mention something. Didn’t you receive anything after the accident?”

“Actually I did get a call a few weeks after the crash but I had no intention of going back to the country then, but now with this financial crisis we are facing with Harold, I was wondering maybe this amount could be substantial.”

“Of course, Katenka! What was the company’s name. Maybe I can try check, I still have connections in the police ****.”

“Thank you so much, uncle!”

“My pleasure darling! By the way, maybe you should increase the rent money!”

“What rent money?”

“Of your house in Ryzan of course!”

“I don’t understand uncle. Dad told me he sold the house!”

That call made Katya’s day. It seemed like they had a way out of this misery afterall. She should call Harold!
