There was one answer from the start

I smiled. There was only one option in my mind, one option that I would dare to take. I leaned up and kissed her lips before sweeping her feet out from under her. Before she knew what was happening, she was in my arms, her lips locked onto mine as I took her to her bedroom.

"Oh Matt... oh my god Matt..." she said, her astonishment apparent with her smile and trembling as I carried her into her room, placing her sexy and beautiful form on her bed.

"Millie, I know that this can't last. I know that in the end, I will go away and my dad will return. But for this night..." I leaned close to her, slipping my shirt off "I want you to be mine and mine alone. I want to be yours and yours alone. Millie... I-"

Her finger found her way up to my mouth and covered my lips, her eyes gazing back at me.

"Please Matt. Lets say it together."

I smiled, more than I ever had in years. Then, in the dark of her room, as her robe fell and the last of my clothes fell from my form, we both uttered those immortal words that were a beginning for us.

"I love you"
