In the bathroom

Hunter undressed in the bathroom, looking into the mirror at the pad of gauze on his rump.

"Fuckin' dog," he growled again, rummaging through the drawers for some surgical tape and a plastic bag. With a few snips he taped the bag over his bandage, waterproofing it for the shower. He had just finished when Jess came in holding a cup of coffee. She placed it on the counter and looked at him, her pretty face wrinkled in a frown of concern.

"Oh my God Hunter that's terrible! Are you sure you should go to work?"

"I'm sure Jess. Don't fuss ok?"

"Ok sweetie, but I'm worried about you. Give me a kiss baby." she leaned towards him and gave him a peck on the lips that suddenly turned into something far more passionate, her body pressing into his and her mouth hungry for him. Surprised, he hardly had time to respond before she pulled herself away with a flush of embarrassment, her eyes looking downcast.

"Um...sorry...I'll let you shower...you smell great baby," she murmured before she scurried out the door and closed it behind her.

Hunter picked up his coffee and sipped it, staring at the closed door in puzzlement, thinking.
