What has disturbed you?
A hunt
As you move through the trees, the night is still. Gradually though, you start to hear something in the distance. It slowly resolves itself into the sound of barking and baying intertwined with a series of chilling howls, as though a pack of wild hounds or wolves is chasing something. You see dark shapes appear in the trees before you, heading at you with incredible speed.
Do you stand or flee?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
