Study with Holly

You work with Holly for what feels like hours, but every time you check the time on your phone, it seems like only a few minutes have passed. Holly is great company, smart and funny, but the studying itself is agonizingly boring and you find it extremely difficult to keep your eyes on your studies for longer than a few minutes at a time.

You turn on the screen of your phone again and roll your eyes when you discover that less than five minutes have passed since the last time you checked.

"Expecting a message from a guy?" Holly says teasingly. "Who is it?"

You blush a little, even though there isn't actually any guy to speak of... unfortunately. "No one!" you say.

"That blush doesn't look like no one," Holly says. "Come on, really! Who is it?"

"It's really no one," you repeat. "Besides, I..." No, there's no way you could tell Holly about what you figured out last night. You've barely ever talked to her. "Yeah, no, it's no one, haha."

"That's too bad," Holly says. "I'm sure you're beating the boys off with a stick."

Your blush deepens a little.
