Since you're in the Enchantress 'quest line', you might as well go for it

"Fine, I'll lead you back to him. But I want to explore the dungeon a bit more first."

You did just get a magic item and an...upgraded(?), or at least changed body. You're somewhat eager to test them out against some more of the dungeon's vermin.

Fine.

Even though she only responds with a mental message, you can tell the Enchantress is rolling her eyes as she agrees.

Wand in hand, you take a bit of a detour on your way back, purposefully looking for oversized rats and spiders to zap. The difference is immediately noticeable; where your bolts of electricity were simply electrocuting the creatures to **** before, now they seem capable of nearly disintegrating them.

When you remark to that effect though, the Enchantress doesn't respond with anything more than a scoffing noise. Apparently vaporizing rats is a beneath her interest. You're having enough fun with it, though you kind of want something tougher to try your skills on. There doesn't appear to be anything around that fits that category...for now, it's time to go find Dennis.

It doesn't take you long to make your way back to the old wizard's place.
