Continue on naked

Linkle let out a sigh. "I guess I'll have to do this naked then." If that was what it took to save her friend, she could and she would, and she didn't have time to wander around aimlessly, scavenging for clothes. Still, it was amusing in an odd sort of way. Some people swore to never rest until their duties were complete, and it looked like Linkle might never get dressed until her friends were safe.

She made her way down he road to the Forest temple, more alert than she had ever been in her life. Most people could walk through a crowded village in the daytime half asleep, but that same person in the forest would always be watching and listening for signs of danger. Linkle, completely naked, was paying attention to every sight and sound, wary of running into anything that might look at her, let alone harm her.

She avoided everyone and everything, but the road to the Forest Temple was soon blocked by a mass of toxic mist. A torch or a lantern could burn away the mist before she breathed it in, but she had nothing like that on her person. Fortunately, one of the people she had avoided was a man named Coro, who sold lanterns and lantern oil. Unfortunately, she didn't have any money and she couldn't ask him for a lantern without him seeing her.

Could she steal one? She felt bad about stealing, and while she had already stolen a sword and shield from other members of her village, it was to save her friends, and she knew the previous owners would understand. Coro, though, wasn't part of Ordon, and Linkle couldn't assume that he'd be willing to help, even if she could rob him unnoticed.

The only other choice she could think of, however, would be to do as Midna had suggested, and "jiggle her way into a discount," which seemed embarrassing, humiliating, and downright slutty.

Either way, Coro had a lantern, and Linkle needed to get one from him.
