Do I Enter The Building Or Draw Jane Out?
Enter The Building
Sneaking and skulking seem to come easily to me, I circle the building carefully and discover another entrance, not trapped. The building has a back door way, (the door itself long gone,) which bears no tripwires or presure plates. This clearly is her entrance and escape route. I silently draw steel and enter the den of the lioness.
The interior is a mess, bits of fallen plaster and paint chips everywhere. I soon enough conclude that my quarry is not present on this floor, but Identify two other places she could be, there is an entrance to an attic, and one to a basement. Whichever I choose, if she is in the other she will have a chance to escape again. If I choose right however she will be quite trapped, giving me the advantage in the negotiations to follow. I must choose quickly, she obviously is prepared, and could be planning some kind of ruse or secondary escape strategy!
