Linda finds Greene.

I navigated my way through the hallways until I reached the designated door. I couldn't find a buzzer, so I knocked. The door opened and standing behind it was Lieutenant Greene. She looked at me, "Yes?"

"Lieutenant, it's me, Ensign Trask," I explained. She looked at me with more scrutiny before looking outside to see if I was alone. Finally, accepting who I was, she pulled me inside.

"Take off your clothes," she said as she marched passed me.

"Wha?" I asked.

"We need to move quick, they have Captain Lance," Greene explained as she seated herself in front of her computer. "They're keeping her in the basement and I can't get anywhere close without raising suspicions. I have a bad feeling that Jenotan is torturing her for information. She's the head of the science division and I believe that she is aware of the Ishtar in orbit."

"What does this have to do with my clothes?" I ask, not really wanting to shed them.

"They don't know you, and I can get you into the roster of initiates so you can go down and investigate," Greene said, "What alias were you using before?"

"I just used Linda..."

Greene looked at me incredulously then rolled her yes, "You'll call yourself Vana. Just don't get into any deep conversations about your life with anyone." She continued to input commands on the console. "I'll draw out a map for you to follow... Go down to the sub basement and head into the granos wing. I couldn't draw up much information there, but it's where Jenotan is said to take dissidents for re-education." I studied the layout of the plans and tracked my route.

"How did the captain get caught?" I asked.

Greene sighed and said, "We were led to believe that the Mayorans knew more than they led on about the sudden power drains on the Ishtar and that drew us to the Science division. What sort of knowledge do they pass along in a intentionally pre-warp world? Well, the things they've been feeding the locals is that space is a dangerous place which needs to be purged of harmful foreign entities using a gigantic particle demoleculizer... of course that's not really what they're doing. They are really using their energy drain machine on passing ships to **** them down so they can strip them of technology while simultaneously neutralizing any invasive threat."

"That big project..." I said, thinking back to what Delandra mentioned.

"Project?" Greene asked.

"The scientist that let us in, she mentioned an important project that they needed to complete today," I explained. "The Ishtar leaves orbit today to regenerate. We need to be on there when it does."

"Of course!" Greene surmised. "You go find the captain. I'll see what I can do to delay this special project."

"Does that mean I still have to...?"

"Take it off already."

I made a deep sigh and shamefully pulled my sarong apart. It dropped to the floor while I tried to cover myself with my arms. Greene stepped from behind her console and shoved me.

"Now go!"

Greene shoved me out of her room and I stood outside, naked.
