Well, what happens when she come back?
They talk for a bit
They sat down and talked. Buffy really didn't say much. She would look at whoever was talking with that same blank smile, offering congratulations, encouragement or regets where appropriate. When asked about herself she'd talk about happy her fiancee made her and how wonderful he was.
"Oh, dear," she said looking at the wall mounted clock. "I have to get started with dinner."
"It's two in the afternoon, Buff."
"I know. I'm already running a few minutes late. Would you like to join us tonight?"
"Um, no. I don't think that would be a good idea. I mean, if you're already running behind your schedule it wouldn't be fair to make you fix more food," Giles said. The group left.
Buffy loved cooking for her future husband. It reminded her of the time she'd fixed Thanksgiving dinner for her friends and of course her mothers cooking. Though she still loved her mother she now understood that her parents divorce had been entirely her mothers fault. If she hadn't wanted silly things like a job and been upset by Hank sleeping with other women then they would've had a happy marriage.
Once the places were set and the food was cooking Buffy went into her bedroom and selected her outfit for the night. A purple bra and thong, stockings, matching pumps and silk choker.
She was waiting at the door on her knees when her soon to be husband entered. "Hey, babe." He patted her on the head.
"Hello, darling. How was your day?"
"Pretty good. Did you do anything interesting today?"
"I had visitors."
"Did you tape it?"
Buffy giggled. "No, silly. It wasn't any of the girls. It was my old friends, Willow, Xander, Kennedy and Giles coming for a visit. Now they can be here for the wedding."
"That's nice. Forget dinner. We're going to the club tonight."
"Oh, boy." Buffy wasn't the least bit upset that her hard work had gone to waste. She just got up to change into a "going out" outift. "Is tonight Jello wrestling night, or ammateur stripper night? I'm such a ditzy girl sometimes and I forget. I'd hate to to hurt one of the girls because I didn't take my shot."
