Chapter 49 by henrytemp
Does he stop her? Does she stop?
First a Peak in on Axe and Sayen
As Sayen finished her glass, she stood up and kind of wobbled.
"Woah, I think I'm done. I'm going to go lay down."
Sayen walked over to the bedroom and turned on the light.
"Woah, no, too bright."
She turned it back off and walked over to the bed and laid down, meanwhile Axe had followed her and was standing at the door.
"Come sit next to me, keep me company, I don't bite," Sayen suggested.
"No, but I might," Axe said as he went to sit next to her.
Sayen burst out laughing then quickly covered her mouth.
"See now, that was a Never Have I Ever I should have asked, because you needed to drink more," she joked as she giggled and poked his arm.
Just then they heard the cabin door open, and they heard Erik's voice. Axe started to get up but Sayen stopped him and told him to be quiet.
"Well shit, I thought they'd be here, but I guess nobody is. I'm sure they'll stop here first though."
As Makayla stood there nervously, Erik went over and turned on the radio. He then went and grabbed a beer.
"You want one?" he asked.
"No... maybe something stronger," she replied.
"Coming right up," Erik said, smiling.
Makayla didn't drink much, she'd only been drunk once. But with everything happening she needed something. What she really needed was Alex, but...
"He is up to something and I want to know what it is. This is perfect, he can't hear us over the music and he can't see us because the light is off," Sayen whispered.
"Why don't we just go out and stop whatever it is he's up to?" Axe asked.
"Because then we won't know what he is up to," she replied.
I guess that makes sense, Axe thought, but was worried about Makayla.
How is Alex handling things?
