On a 7-9, Vincent has conditions

June whimpers from behind the bathroom door as you sit at the kitchen table with your husband.

"Could you still love me, Vincent?" you ask. "If I'm...lesbian? Bisexual?"

Vincent takes a breath. "Yes. Let's talk about that. When will the laundry be done?"

"Let me start the dryer," you say.

You move June's clothes from the washer to the dryer and take the opportunity to fetch the pajama bottoms from your bedroom and quickly pull up the bedclothes.

You tap at the bathroom door. "June, can I come in?" you ask.

June opens the door. The petite redheaded nurse is bottomless, red-eyed from weeping.

You step in with the other half of Jill's old Supergirl pajamas in hand. "Let's get your bottoms on," you say.

You have June sit on the toilet lid while you pull up your daughter's old pajama bottoms onto her. With your head close to her waist, your nostrils twitch at her scent. Your mouth waters and your vagina lubricates.

"Is it going to be okay?" June asks.

"Yes," you say. You give June a hug. "You can stay here or come out if you want. I just put your clothes in the dryer."

"Thanks, Gloria," June says. Your eyes meet for a look. June smiles at what she sees in your face. She takes your hand and you walk hand-in-hand back to the kitchen table.

"Ms. Phillips," Vincent greets her.

You hold June's hand under the table as Vincent speaks. Vincent seeks his own reassurance, reaching out for your other hand.

"Gloria," Vincent says. "Plainly things won't work if this is happening on the job." His eyes wander to the ceiling and back to your face. The gears in his auditor's mind are grinding this out. "So here's what we need to do." He squeezes your hand. His palm is damp, nervous. "There's an opening at my company for a nurse. Ms. Phillips, if you want to be my wife's lover, I would be glad to put you forward."

June makes a little sound. She blinks, looking a little bewildered.

"Second," Vincent says. "Gloria, any lovers you have, bring them home. You can use Jill's room. You can move Ms. Phillips in, if you like."

Vincent hesitates.

"Third?" you ask.
