Chapter 10 by AlanaSurana AlanaSurana

Can you seize this chance to flee, or are you paralyzed by fear.

You take a moment to check the room before you run.

Despite the rising terror screaming at you to bolt, you take a second to scan the room. You see the four demons and their prizes shrink back from Thoros, clearly worried about becoming the next recipient of his wrath. You honestly can't blame them. Risking a quick look for your clothing, you see that your panties are still loosely wrapped around your ankle. Even from your position, you can see the glistening of your own cum darkening the fabric. you are going to have to be cautious as you escape so that you don't trip over your panties. The rest of your clothing is too damaged or out of reach too be of any use.

As you make your quick survey, you can hear Thoros raging. "... Decades of planning could be waisted because you fools couldn't keep a few initiates from running! The summoning spell was supposed to be a last resort!"

At that moment, Thoros swings his fist at the imp. You seize the moment, as he is totally focused on the flying menace, to grab the holy sword and run.

You all but fly across the room, the sound of your feet inaudible over the shouting of the demon lord. You can hear him scream for the other demons to catch you as you pass through out the exit to the main hall.

From the main hall you proceed down a short corridor and the through the main abbey door. The door bangs open as you burst through into the night. Already you hear a shriek from above you and look to see another imp on the roof just above you.

It is only through your years of training that you react quickly enough to save your self. Just as the imp dives, you harness your speed and momentum from running to roll out of the way.

So quickly was the small demon moving, that you can hear the soft thud as he hits the ground beside you. Turning quickly, you raise the Sword of St. Magdalena and bring it down upon the imp. In the instant before you cleave the vile fiend in two, you notice he had impacted the dirt phallus first. As far as you are concerned, it was divine justice and can't help the vicious smile that comes to your lips.

A sudden yell from the inside of the abbey causes you to turn back to the main door. Already you can see more demons racing after you from the inside. It seems that you will have no time to catch your breath. Instead, you run to the stables. You know that you have no chance of outrunning the demons on foot. Instead, you have to hope that some of the abbey's mounts are still alive.

You quickly make your way to the stables, and bring yourself up to the side door. You have no idea what might be inside, and yet you can't afford to take too long to make your next move. The demons have no doubt guessed what you are planning to do, and were very likely close behind you. If they caught up to you before you could mount a horse, it would be over for you before your escape had truly begun. You begin to pull open the side door as quietly as possible and bend forward to peer through the crack in the door.

Just as you start to look through, the cold night wind, which had been all but forgotten by you during your flight from the abbey, begins to caress your now exposed quim. You nearly shriek in surprise at the sudden cold sensation. You were still wet from your earlier arousal and orgasms, and it made the cold breeze feel like someone was rubbing your womanhood with ice. You move one hand and quickly cover yourself from the wind only to find that your clit is hard to the touch and throbbing with heat. The combination of the cold and your hand is too much for you, and you let out a low moan. You suddenly recall what Thoros had said to you only minutes earlier.

'You are still just a horny pussy waiting to be fucked.'

His words bounce around in your head, and then another moan slips from your lips. You realize that you are rubbing yourself to the demons voice as it plays through your mind. Shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you proceed to open the door further. As more of the interior of the barn becomes visible to you, it becomes apparent that something like a large slug creature had made it's way through the barn. Straining your ears, you realize that you can hear heavy breathing coming from within. You try to take a moment to weigh the situation, but you can hear the voices of your pursuers getting closer.

Your decision made, you open the barn door farther so you can slip in. You try to ignore the delicious friction of your legs rubbing together as you walk, choosing instead to focus your attention ahead should there be any demons left in the barn. Once you are inside, you close the door behind you and lock it. The wood won't hold long, but it could buy you a few precious seconds. Before you continue further, you reach down and grab your panties, still twisted around your leg, and straighten them out. You pull your other leg back in the thin fabric, and pull it back up. The feeling of the damp fabric is uncomfortable, but at least now you are no long nude. As an added bonus, you find that walking is no long as distracting.

You move quickly and quietly to the front of the barn, scanning the room continuously for any sign that there may be demons still within the structure. As you make your way down the central isle, you notice a blanket hanging nearby that seems to be free of the slime coating most everything else. You pull it down, and wrap it around yourself. With any luck, your body will begin to heat up soon.

The closer to the main door, the worse the carnage gets. You can see the corpses of several horses, coved in slime, as well as some of their handlers. Doing your best to push through, you continue on to the source of the heavy breathing. As you come to the last stall, you can't help the smile that crosses your face, and the sigh of relief. It seems the Goddess is still watching over you. In the last stall, in full tack, is the War Mother's personal steed.

Suddenly, from the rear of the building, you can hear the odd trumpeting noise of the demon hounds. It seems this greeting sill have to be cut short. You quickly look around and find a few loose strip of leather. Moving quickly, you first wrap yourself as best you can in the blanket before securing it with one of the straps. You then tie the holy sword to your waist. A loud banging comes from the side door, and you hear the demons shouting for their companions to go around to the front. You are out of time.

With all your might, you throw open the large barn door. The shots from the demons outside rise to a crescendo as they realize how close you are to escaping. With a flare of your makeshift dress, you mount the white charger and spur the animal into action. Aegis rises up onto his hind legs and then bolts from the barn. Wind blasts through your hair, and down every opening in you blanket. Within seconds you begin to feel uncomfortably cold, and the repeated impact of your nearly naked bottom against the saddle is already beginning to cause you pain. None of that matters now though. Gerlangen is a two week ride from the abbey, and Aegis was the best horse in the stable. As long as you can keep the pace up, you should be able to buy yourself some breathing room to work with.

Suddenly, you hear a whistle zip by you and a stinging sensation in your arm. A mere instant later, you hear the thud of something hitting the ground. Hissing in pain you look down at your arm and see blood slowly welling up from a shallow cut. It takes you a moment, but you soon realize the demons must have tried to take you down with some kind of arrow or dart. Another whistle, close to your head, and the danger is now apparent to you. As much as you hate to **** Aegis into the expanse of trees, and off the beaten path, its the only way you are going to have some measure of protection from these projectiles.

As you steer Aegis towards the forest, the attacks continue. Some are closer, some farther away. Two more of the dart like things manage to graze you before you safely reach the cover of the woods. Even with this cover over your head, you only allow Aegis to slow slightly as you push further into the trees. After what seems like an eternity, you slow your pace. The foliage is becoming harder to navigate, and Aegis is already breathing hard. After the pace you had him running at, he will need a chance to rest before you start off again.

As you dismount, you begin to check on your injuries. As you suspected, they were only surface cuts. You realize just how lucky you were. If those projectiles had hit you in a vital spot, you would have been killed. You begin to look for a way to clean your wounds. It doesn't take to long before you find a water skin in the saddlebags. Leaning up against a nearby tree, you begin gently cleaning the blood from the skin. As you are doing this, you begin to formulate the next stage of your plans. Its true that you need to get to Gerlangen, but you are hesitant to simply set back out on the road. Now that the demons know that you have a means to quickly alert the others of the order, in addition to one of the three holy relics sealing Thoros from this world, they would stop at nothing to get ahold of you. You next steps have to be well thought out to avoid being foolishly captured.

You suddenly yawn loudly, a wave of fatigue washing over you. You shake your head to clear the cobwebs, but all that happens is that you yawn again. You feel like you have been awake for three days straight. Sliding down the trunk of the tree, you wrap the blanket tighter around your body. The conflict with Ivona and the flight from the abbey must have taken far more out of you than you thought. You know that you need to get moving again, but you highly doubt that you will make any real progress in the state you are in. Besides, you are gonna have to get some sleep sooner or later. Better to do it here in the woods, then passing out later where you might not be as well hidden.

Do you get some rest, or do you push on?
