Lazarus Station

"That was the facility with which we brought back Shepard he first time. As I recall, we went billions of credits over budget, and the majority of the council race governments have exhausted a lot of their resources." Miranda, who came from seemingly nowhere, suddenly appeared behind the group, walking toward them in her body clenching uniform while Liara shot her a cold look. Not because she disliked the cerberus operative, but it wasn't typical that someone else had more knowlege about a black ops project than Liara. But this was one exception.

"But the facility was overrun by the mechs Cerberus had in place. I believe they destroyed most of the station." Liara stated flatly while eyeing the perfect ex-Cerberus operative to see if she would continue the duel of knowlege.

"True, but this time I know what we need. Last time we were just guessing, and spending a lot of credits to do it. Now I know exactly what to do and how." She expresses her confidence by placing her hand on her hip and gazing at both the Admiral and the band.

Hackett then clears his throat, not allowing Liara to retort as he continues. "Thank you, Miss Lawson and Doctor T'Soni.. But we need both your minds on this project to make it work. The Galaxy's hero deserves our best. I'll make sure you have what you need to get started." He nods to everone as Miranda follows him to discuss requisitions.

"So..." As everyone else parts to help the soldiers sift hrough debris and search for survivors, Garrus stays beside Liara and strikes up a conversation. "That could've gone better... But we have a chance at least. A chance to bring Shepard back." Liara glances at the Turian and nods slightly, a million thoughts racing through her head at once. Oh how things never change. "Yeah.. But it seems like I'm just handing him to Cerberus again."

Garrus thinks on that statement for a moment before shrugging. "And? You did it to save him, bring him back. That's all that matters. Not who does it, but that it gets done."

Liara concedes with a silent contemplation of what exactly was ahead for them, Garrus moving to help Tali sift through tech and get things working again.
