Battle Fruit Orange is on the scene!

"Your plans end today, villain scum!"

The audience cheered as the heroine Battle Fruit Orange jumped on stage, pointing in declaration at the group of cronies clad in black spandex.

Donning her stage persona, Nami wore a simple orange leotard with a cut in its midsection to show off her firm midriff. Around her waist covered a short white miniskirt that left little to the imagination. The mask over her face, which she was thankful for, not only protected her identity from government officials and bounty hunters alike, but also helped ease the embarrassment of performing live in the middle of the bustling amusement park.

Still, the cheers of the children watching was certainly encouraging to her performance. Yet some of the gazes from the older adult audience members were off putting, sometimes too focused as they leered in every time her skirt moved.

"Orange Kick!"

The crowd cheered again as she performed another high kick, her yellow boot knocking down another thug. Of course it was all staged, a simple script with the villains causing havoc before being apprehended by the single heroine. An easy buck, or so Nami thought before strong hand wrapped around her arms and waist from behind.

"Got you now, Battle Fruit Orange!" boasted one of the bigger thugs.

Nami turned her head to look at him, her eyes serious. "What are you doing?"

This wasn't in the script.

"Today is when the hero falls," the villain laughed, and with surprising strength he lifted her off the ground.

"Hey! Let go!" Nami struggled, her feet kicking in the air.

"Woah now," the thug leaned his head forward, his mouth to her ear. "I know who you are. If you don't want everyone else watching to know as well, you better play along."

For a moment, Nami froze. Her hazelnut eyes went to the audience gasping from below, wondering what was going to happen next. Did she dare risk exposing herself in front of so many?
