Eat Dinner

The girls ran down the stairs, filling the staircase with creaks and thunderous footsteps. They both burst into a giggling fit as they stormed into the dinning room, being met by glares from everyone at the table.

"Well you two seem to be getting along just fine." Aunt Maude observed.

The girls looked at each other then giggled some more.

When they stopped, the pair sat down and began helping themselves to the wonderfully smelling food. Maude had outdone herself again. Tonight they dined on pork chops, mashed potatoes, and salad. A rather plain meal, but Aunt Maude must have been a good cook because Emma was pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted.

The meal passed by quickly enough, despite Emma and Jenny being impatient to sneak out and get some ****. Conversation was light, hitting a bit on what Maude had taught the twins today and various questions about how Emma had spent her time alone this morning.

Emma gave vague answers, but was polite about it. "I really just wasted time until Jenny was free." Emma explained when her family seemed to want more details about her day.

"Well I suppose it doesn't matter, as long as your state of mind is doing well. We wanted you to visit so you could relax and not be alone." Maude said.

Emma explained that she understood and was actually having a great time, although she had to hide a bit of a blush as she said it. Then she went on to thank her aunt, and everyone else, for how kind they had been.

Knowing better than to try and help clear the table once they finished the meal, Emma waited patiently for Jenny to get done helping Maude. Then the two girls were off to get in to trouble.
