Chapter 17 by henrytemp
Where does Bianca go? Does she run into anyone?
Dr. Pittman At the Lake
Dr. Pittman was standing on the dock of the lake, looking out onto the moonlit waters, listening to the sounds around him. He'd had a good talk with his wife earlier, but needed to go out into nature to unwind. Night time in the wild was his favorite place.
He heard a noise behind him, he turned around and saw Bianca emerge from the woods. She walked out onto the dock, then stopped, and saw him, realizing she wasn't alone. She froze and started to crumble, Dr. Pittman ran to her and caught her. As he helped he to the end of the dock to sit her down he couldn't help but get a couple feels of her breasts. Though he certainly didn't intend to, his body still reacted. When he got her to the end of the dock, he reached down, scooped up some lake water and splashed it on her. Bianca awoke from her trance, shook her head to dry it off, then laid her head against his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her. They remained this way, completely silent for a while. finally Bianca broke the silence.
"It was wrong then, it's even more wrong now," she said.
"I know," he replied, "but..."
"This is my fault, and it's cruel to tempt like this... but I needed a friend."
"Maybe, but I've always cared about you, you know that," he said.
A few more moments of silence passed.
"After I stopped... this, you ran off on sabbatical for a year... then you came back with a wife," she said.
"And a daughter," he added.
"My best friend," she acknowledged. "It was hard to be cold to you, but I did it for both our benefit."
"And tonight?" he asked.
"So much has happened. So much..." she trailed off.
They had another moment of silence.
"Brian..." he started to say but stopped himself. Another awkward pause passed between them.
"How did you know?" she asked.
"When it comes to you I watch everything," he responded.
"I'm not sure if that is romantic or creepy," she replied.
"That was always for you to decide," he said as he stood up. "Things between us.. were a mess I didn't ask for."
"But a mess you enjoyed," she added.
He nodded affirmative as pulled her up and hugged her. Their bodies were so close it was almost too much for both of them. He wanted so badly to rip her clothes off. She almost wished he would just throw her down and take her.
"You ok now?" he asked.
"Yeah," she lied, turning back to look across the moonlit lake, giving him a head start, before heading back to her cabin. In a way it turned her on that she was the only student Pitt had come close to having an affair with, but while she needed the comfort this night, she knew they were both playing with fire.
How is Gina's call with her fiance?
