Chapter 3 by henrytemp henrytemp

What's happening with the guys?

Erik and Brian have a disagreement

"Dude, I don't know how you put up with her," Erik snarled.

Brian just gave him a look and went back to unpacking.

"Ohh, does she lock the office door and let you squeeze those big tits, is that why you like her?"

"You can be such an ass," Brian grabbed his bag of toiletries and left to go find the bathroom.

You didn't mind so much when I was helping you get laid left and right freshman year, Erik thought. Ever since he started dating Kat, he's changed.

Brian had chosen to room with Erik because he knew he was the only one who could tolerate him. He also knew that he was the only one that could put him in his place when he'd crossed the line as he so often did, without it turning into a fight. He also understood that his real hate toward Bianca was that he blamed her for coming in between him and Sayen, when really it had been his own behavior that drove her away. Sigh. He couldn't wait for his girlfriend to get there later in the week.

In the other room Alex and Axe were unpacking. By looks you would never expect the two to be friends. Alex had short blonde hair and was as comfortable in a suit as he was in a costume on stage. Axe, short for Maxwell Ackerman (which became Max Axe, and eventually just Axe) had long brown hair and at first glance many thought him a stoner. Though he was a fan of incense, he claims his only encounter with marijuana was a contact high at a party. The two had been roommates freshman year, and friends since. When Alex got involved in student leadership, he convinced Axe to join up too.

Dr. Pittman texted his wife to let her know they had arrived safely and that everything was fine with Sayen. This would actually the first time they had been around each other for any significant time, and he hoped to take that opportunity to get to know her better. They got along fine, but he had always felt awkward broaching anything in her personal life. He looked in the mirror and admired himself. At 35 he still was in as good of shape as when he was 20, maybe more so. He knew he'd been the topic of many of his female students conversations, but he would never cross that line. In the past it was because he considered it unprofessional, now it was because he loved his wife too much to do that to her. Before her though, he had been tempted once. He felt guilty because this retreat was bringing those memories flooding back.

How does the initial meeting go?
