The vampire nest

Emma gathers everyone up. "Ok, Katy and Leo stake out Tina's place again. Jack, you'll come with me and Toby to the nest. We'll see what you can do."

Toby hands you a silver cross on a chain and a pistol.

"Pistol has eight shots. Loaded with silver bullets. It will stop one of the vampires thrills or a werewolf equally as well. Blindfold for now."

You holster the gun and allow Toby to blindfold you.

You spend the next half hour blindfolded. By the time Toby removes it you are almost to the warehouse by the docks.

"Ok, Toby, Jack, Katy triangulated a bunch of kills to that warehouse. It's deserted and would be a perfect spot. Jack if you would be so kind as to lead."

You enter the warehouse.

Ruff

You raise you gun and shoot as a large feral dog leaps at you.

"Nice shot. Of course if there is a human servant anywhere here you just alerted him."

"Toby, what else was he going to do?"

"Umph."

It is surprisingly easy to find a trio of vampires. As you approach the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It feels like you are being watched.

"This feels like a setup. Too easy." You mutter.

"I don't disagree, Jack, let's stake them and get out of here."

You each take a vampire. As you pound the stake in it bleeds profusely. Then it catches fire leaving nothing but dust.

Emma's phone rings.
